Salinas, CA - SarWood Racing's Chris Sarian picked-up eight spots and 3.5 seconds over the race weekend at the U.S. Sports Car Invitational /SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup

"This was truly our biggest challenge to-date in the series", commented Chris Sarian. "Laguna Seca is really a connection of turns, there isn't a straight where you can really rest…it's full-on racing." "This is not a track where you show up and are immediately competitive…another day of testing would've been great, but this is pro racing, so you have to make the most of each situation."

Chris has picked-up eight spots in each of the first three races of the season so far. "We need to really focus on qualifying higher up the ladder so as to have a better shot at reaching into the top-five. With other teams having previously raced/tested at many of the tracks on our schedule, this will not be an easy task."
